What a great way for beginners to try watercolor painting—a fun experience while on your island vacation! Everything students need is furnished. You’ll get a basic understanding of what watercolor is all about and will walk out the door with a finished painting that you’ve created!
Tables will be set up with everything students need for painting. Use of supplies will be demonstrated and students will begin by making a color reference chart to get the feel of how to paint with watercolors. Teacher will demonstrate pattern transfer technique, and students will transfer patterns to watercolor paper. Painting demo by teacher, then students will begin painting their tropical fish. During this time, teacher will assist as needed, guiding and encouraging students as they paint. We will discuss signature placement, matting and framing. If time, students may experiment on another painting of their choice.
None needed. All art supplies for this workshop will be furnished by the instructor.
