Join teaching and professional artist Francesco Gillia for an online, mini workshop series.
Students will work with pen and paper or charcoal and paper to learn how to simplify and construct the Structure of the face in simple yet characteristic shapes. We will study the form, planes of the eyes, ears, nose, lips and practice drawing them from a number of different angles. Quick and effective tips to convey liveliness will be shared. ALL levels of experience are welcome and the supplies are items you can find in your own home!
Francesco will give each student one-on-one assistance. The one-on-one can be done privately in a zoom break out room or publicly for the class. This workshop is limited in size so that everyone has adequate time for personalized attention from Francesco.
• Pen(s) or charcoal – pens can be ballpoint or other
