Mindful Making is a process-based art class focused on self-expression\, reflection\, and personal meaning. Rather than emphasizing technical skills or finished products\, this class invites stu-dents to explore the why behind their creative choices. Through guided prompts\, dedicated art-making time\, and optional group discussion\, participants develop their own individual projects in a supportive\, open environment. Each session balances quiet studio work with thoughtful reflection\, encouraging students to engage with memory\, emotion\, and personal narrative. There is no right or wrong approach\, and no prior experience is required. Students may work in any medium and are welcome to bring ongoing projects or begin something entirely new (students choice of medium). This class is ideal for anyone seeking a deeper\, more intentional connection to their creative practice\, as well as for those looking to complement more technical art training with conceptual and expressive development.
