Take the guesswork out of drawing ribbons and bows by understanding their basic structure.
This class will break down the complexity of bows and ribbons into easy basic shapes, light and shadow.
A great workshop for beginners and intermediate drawers alike.
This workshop will benefit not only drawing, but also the concepts crossover and will enhance the artists’ painting experience.

Juli Bobman grew up surrounded by the lush vegetation and pristine beaches of Sanibel. Amused by the people sunbathing on the beach, Juli discovered the absolute beauty of the human form glistening from tanning oil and sculpted by shadows and colors created by the early evening sky.
Juli studied fine art/graphic design at the Ringling College of Art and Design and upon graduation in 1986 worked designing and manufacturing fine jewelry for national and local jewelry companies.
She has always had a passion for drawing from live models and immersed herself in figure study while at Ringling and beyond, learning from great teachers.
Most recently, Juli opened her studio, BTB Artists’ Studios, where she continues creating her own art during her quiet moments. Her studio also functions as a gallery for her figurative work and other artists who don’t have gallery representation.
Juli had her first solo exhibit last August at the Sydney and Berne Davis Art Center and has had work exhibited at the Alliance for the Arts, as well as donated to Arts for ACT and many other organizations.
