SUMMARY:EXPLORING PRINTMAKING:  Monotype/Monoprint
DESCRIPTION:1-day class fee: $115 / $92 annual donors   \nArtists of all levels are welcome to explore the art of printmaking. We will approach printmaking through monotype and monoprint using a Sturges press then incorporate collage along with using additive and subtractive methods. \nClass will begin with a brief history of monotype/monoprint throughout the ages\, followed by an instructor demonstration of the various techniques used to create these painterly prints. \nStudents will learn various methods of applying inks to the plexi-plates\, using brayers\, and brushes\, as well as creating textures from collage. Everyone will create unique\, one-of-a-kind prints under Deb’s instruction. \nCancellation deadline: 7/17/2026\nCall the box office to register: 239-395-0900 \n\nArtist Bio\n\n\nSupply list\n\n\nClass Outline\n \nBIG ARTS Cancellation Policy: \nCancellations made more than one week (7-days) prior to the start of class will receive an 80% refund.  OR funds may be applied to any other workshop of your choice during the current season. \nRegistration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than one-week prior to the start of the class.
