Class fee: $105 for all participants. Includes a pre-thrown 8-inch clay pot for each student.

Enjoy this fun-filled evening as we begin in the classroom learning about Raku, a traditional Japanese pottery-firing technique. Students will experience the application of crackle glaze, copper mat glaze, and more…

Students will observe the exciting steps of loading and unloading the kilns, outside in the sculpture garden, while sipping on wine and enjoy light snacks during the 45-minute firing process. Finally, the pots are quenched with water before each student takes home their beautiful raku work of art.

Cancellation deadline: 04/02/2026

Student Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than one week (7 days) prior to the start of class will receive an 80% refund.  OR – funds may be applied to any other workshop of your choice during the current season.

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than one-week prior to the start of the class.

BIG ARTS Cancellation Policy: There is a minimum of 4 students required to run a class/workshop.  If the minimum number of students is not met one week (7 days) prior to the start of class BIG ARTS will cancel the class and refund students who are registered.
