Registration is open to students entering 4th, 5th, & 6th grade (ages 9- 12)
During this 1-week pottery camp, students will learn how to create colorful clay masks inspired by the artist, Picasso. Using the “slab” method, students will roll out a flat piece of clay to form the base of their masks. Learn different techniques such as scratch and slip, stamping, and coils, for attaching additional pieces like eyes, noses, and mouths.
Dana will encourage students to explore their creativity by adding texture and decorative details using various tools, everyday objects, and additional appliques. Students will paint/glaze their masks and after the artwork has been fired, students additional objects, and embellishments to complete their masterpieces.
On Friday we invite parents to join us at 11am for an art showing!
TO REGISTER: Youth registrations must be accompanied by a completed registration and release of liability form.

BIG ARTS Cancellation/Attendance Policy:
Cancellations made more than one week (7-days) prior to the start of class will receive an 80% refund. -OR- the funds may be applied as credit to your BIG ARTS account.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than one-week (7-days) prior to the start of the class.
Cancellations made the day of class (if your child is going to be absent the day of class) there are no refunds.
