Supplies are purchased directly from the instructor: material costs will depend on the quantity of glass used and projects you choose to create. Each student invoice tracks all glass purchases to be paid to the instructor at the end of the session.
Workshop Experience
Day 1: Design & Foundation (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM) We begin with the fundamentals of glass preparation. You will learn how to select and layer glass to create depth and interest, completing your first one or two pendants to be loaded into the kiln for their first firing.
Day 2: Expansion & Refinement (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM) Build on your skills as we design additional pieces. We will also revisit the work from Day 1, discussing the firing results and, if necessary, preparing them for their final stages.
The Final Touch (Pickup Day) Once the kiln has worked its magic, return on the third day to collect your treasures. We will focus on the final assembly – adding chains or learning the basics of wire wrapping to turn your glass pieces into professional-quality jewelry.
