Supply fee: $40 per student payable to the instructor
In this class, we will be using seagrass to weave one-of-a-kind pieces. Seagrass is several feet long and is easy to work with. It is an ideal medium for coiling and open weaving.
We will start around a piece of driftwood, shell, or part of a gourd; and by weaving over, under, and around, incorporating large shells and other sea things. We will create a large wall piece or table center-piece. Bring your imagination and any interesting objects you want to incorporate, as well as your favorite CDs for two days of creating.
All levels are welcome, and no previous experience is needed for this class.
Students should wear old clothing or an apron and bring sharp scissors, lunch and a beverage.

BIG ARTS Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made more than one week (7 days) prior to the start of class will receive an 80% re-fund. OR – funds may be applied to any other workshop of your choice during the current season.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than one week prior to the start of the class.
