Students will learn techniques for successful pastel painting under the instruction of an experienced pastel artist, depicting portraits, and still life. Curriculum will consist of a selection of materials, with instructor de-mos of various pastel techniques.

This is a fun class where anything is possible and the surprises are endless. Donna will demon-strate this art form and guide students through the process of learning and advancing their gel-print techniques. You’ll learn creative ideas of what can be done with the prints you have made.

Abstract monoprints are a spontaneous form of printmaking that explores the possibilities of this historically rooted medium. This 2-day workshop will focus on color and composition, where stu-dents create layered, hand-pulled prints using a Sturges press to produce individual diptychs or triptychs.
Enjoy this fun-filled evening as we begin in the classroom learning about Raku, a traditional Japanese pottery-firing technique. Tim & Dana will guide students through the enjoyable process of glazing a pre-thrown pot.
