As a fine art medium, colored pencil is versatile, inexpensive, and easy to master. Whether you are new to colored pencils or experienced with them, you will discover techniques for effective results. Working with specialty erasers and household items, you will learn how to smooth and blend color and to create convincing textures rapidly.

Wednesday, October 21, 2026 From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Artists of all levels are welcome to explore the art of printmaking. We will approach printmaking through monotype and monoprint using a Sturges press and then incorporate collage, along with using additive and subtractive methods.

Monday, November 9, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Donna will guide you through the Zentangle process step by step as you create this fun folded card on which you will learn and draw many different tangles. The best thing is there are no mistakes in Zentangle and each finished piece will look different from anyone else’s in the class. That is the fun of Zentangle.

Deborah will inspire students with examples of textiles from all over the world, using natural images for textile design and her own creations. Students are asked to bring Inspirational examples of cloth using nature’s images.

Thursday & Friday, December 3 & 4, 2026 from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Students will learn techniques for successful pastel painting under the instruction of an experienced pastel artist, depicting portraits, and still life. Curriculum will consist of a selection of materials, with instructor de-mos of various pastel techniques.

Monday, December 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This is a fun class where anything is possible and the surprises are endless. Donna will demon-strate this art form and guide students through the process of learning and advancing their gel-print techniques. You’ll learn creative ideas of what can be done with the prints you have made.

Abstract monoprints are a spontaneous form of printmaking that explores the possibilities of this historically rooted medium. This 2-day workshop will focus on color and composition, where stu-dents create layered, hand-pulled prints using a Sturges press to produce individual diptychs or triptychs.
