Artists of all levels are welcome to explore the art of printmaking. We will approach printmaking through monotype and monoprint using a Sturges press and then incorporate collage, along with using additive and subtractive methods.

In this workshop, intermediate & advanced stu-dents will experience the freedom of acrylics, and look forward to painting still life, landscapes, and figures. This new workshop will cover the basic principles of oil painting with regard to painting palms. It will include interesting and memorable discussions on composition, massing, building form, light and shadow, depending on your own style, and knowing when a work is finished (learning how to not overwork your painting).

Mondays, February 1, 8, 15, 22, 2027 from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
In this four-week workshop, open to all, we will explore the connection between art and writing, using examples from painting and photography to inspire us. Ten-minute free-writing prompts will guide us as we fill our notebooks with new writing that can become poems, stories, or personal essays.

Mindful Making is a process-based art class focused on self-expression, reflection, and personal meaning. Rather than emphasizing technical skills or finished products, this class invites stu-dents to explore the why behind their creative choices.

Intermediate & Advanced painters, this information-packed workshop is designed to give a good foundation for bold, di-rect palette knife paintings. Participants can expect to pro-duce at least one painting. Class starts with a demonstration focusing on the most direct and effective methods for paint-ing strong, vibrant oils using painting knives and a limited palette.

In this class, students will create 2 cards and incorpo-rate Zentangle techniques on them. Students will learn fun tangles and come away with cards to send to that special someone.
