Abstract monoprints are a spontaneous form of printmaking that explores the possibilities of this historically rooted medium. This 2-day workshop will focus on color and composition, where students create layered, hand-pulled prints using a Sturges press to produce individual diptychs or triptychs.
All levels of artists are welcome to enjoy a class curriculum that will consist of the history of printmaking, instructor demonstrations, orientation of equipment, techniques, use of tools, and creative artistic freedom, ending with a class show-&-share session.
