Supply fee: $50 per student, and payable to the instructor for all materials provided: two finished blank scarves of crepe de chine – 11 by 40 inch, thickened dye in three colors and one clear
Deborah will inspire students with examples of textiles from all over the world, using natural images for textile design and her own creations. Students are asked to bring Inspirational examples of cloth using nature’s images.
Class will begin with an enjoyable group exercise to loosen up the creative juices! Deborah will demonstrate many techniques for the application of dye on silk, including using a brush.
Students will come away from the workshop with two crepe de chine silk scarves 11” X 40” of their own original art. Finishing and care instructions for the scarves will be provided to all students.

BIG ARTS Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made more than one week (7 days) prior to the start of class will receive an 80% refund. OR – funds may be applied to any other workshop of your choice during the current season.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than one week prior to the start of the class.
