Take your time, twist some tape, and create your own charming garden dweller as you coil, shape, and smooth your way to a handmade spiral-shelled snail sculpture. Students of all artistic levels are welcome, whether you’re a beginner looking to explore your creativity or an experienced artist wanting to experiment with a new medium.
Jeff’s teaching style is relaxed and conversational and encourages everyone’s individual creativity. You will learn techniques of how to layer and manipulate the tape to achieve the desired shape and texture using masking tape, paper and wire, along with glass marbles and glass stones.
At the end of the class, you’ll take home your unique snail sculpture, reflecting the charm of contemporary folk art. You’ll also receive an instructional handout to help you seal and paint your artwork using easy-to-find materials at home.

Cancellations made more than one week (7 days) prior to the start of class will receive an 80% refund. OR – funds may be applied to any other workshop of your choice during the current season.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than one-week prior to the start of the class.
