Free and open to the public, Art Vibe 2024 will highlight a new gallery exhibit, recognize scholarship recipients, and feature entertainment, food, and drinks.
In the Dunham Family Gallery, “Bootcamp: An Immersive Experience in Contemporary Art” curated by senior visual arts students from Florida SouthWestern State College will be on display. Students and professors will be on hand to speak about their work and the experience of creating, hanging, and jurying a professional show. CLICK HERE to learn more about the exhibit.
BIG ARTS will also recognize this year’s Performing and Creative Arts Scholarship winners, presenting recipients with their awards and checks. Open to Lee County residents, the donor-backed Scholarship Program is for students who are attending college to pursue a professional career in creative or performing arts. The event will also feature live demonstrations by BIG ARTS artist-instructors and BIG ARTS Gift Shop artists, live music by the Wilder Duo, hearty appetizers, local beer from No. 3 Craft Brews of Cape Coral, and an open bar of wine, soda and water.
