BIG ARTS Opens 2024 Scholarship Application

The BIG ARTS Performing and Creative Arts Scholarships Program is designed to support Lee County students who intend to pursue a career in the professional arts, including music, theater, dance, photography, film, graphic design, drawing, painting, and sculpture. Scholarships are awarded for excellence and dedication. The Scholarship Program is reflective of BIG ARTS passionate commitment to the arts in Lee County. Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted into a higher education art program, and students currently enrolled in a higher education art program are eligible to apply. Scholarships are paid directly to the arts educational institution that the recipient will attend.

In 2023, nine students were awarded with grants ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 each.  The recipient’s of the awards varied from Viola Study at Lynn University Conservatory of Music, Fashion Design at Savannah College of Art & Design, to Theater at NYU Tisch School of Drama.

BIG ARTS is honored to celebrate the arts and encourage young and talented artists in their journey to excellence. The Scholarship Committee looks forward to selecting the 2024 BIG ARTS Art Education Scholarship recipients, and to encouraging their growth as professional artists.

June 1, 2024 – Recipient Notification
June 15, 2024 – Certificate Ceremony at BIG ARTS Art Vibe Event
