Intermediate & Advanced painters: This information-packed workshop is designed to give a good foundation for bold, direct palette knife paintings. Participants can expect to produce at least one painting. Class starts with a demonstration focusing on the most direct and effective methods for painting strong, vibrant oils using painting knives and a limited palette. Participants are encouraged to ask questions during the demonstration. Afterwards, participants will paint from their own photograph or may choose to paint from one of the large photos provided for them by the instructor. During this time, Jan will go around to each person offering suggestions focusing on their individual needs. CRITIQUE will begin at 3:00 p.m. on the second day.

BIG ARTS Master Artist Cancellation Policy:
We offer a variety of workshops taught by nationally and internationally recognized master artists. Due to the contractual agreements with some of these artists. $75 of the workshop fee is non-refundable and non-transferable upon registration.
Cancellations made more than one week (7 days) prior to the start of class will receive an 80% refund, less the $75 non-refundable fee.
OR
Your funds may be applied to any other workshop of your choice during the current season, less the $75 non-refundable fee.
