Hand-building for the intermediate to the advanced. We will explore more hand-building techniques and work on skills. We will further your understanding of techniques such as coil, slab, and pinch construction. We will focus on improving form, structure, and surface design while incorporating decorative elements like carving, stamping, and glazing. Students will work on projects such as honing their skills and opening the world of new and different techniques. Glazing techniques will be further explored, and we will work on the student’s expectation from concept to completion. This class will be a collaborative venture where learning from all levels is shared.
Prerequisite: A desire to learn and improve creativity and forms.

BIG ARTS Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made more than one week (7 days) prior to the start of class will receive an 80% refund. OR funds may be applied to any other workshop of your choice during the current season.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than one week prior to the start of the class.
