Artists of all levels are welcome to explore the art of printmaking. We will approach printmaking through monotype and monoprint using a Sturges press and then incorporate collage, along with using additive and subtractive methods.
Monday & Tuesday, January 11 & 12, 2027 from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
In this workshop, intermediate & advanced stu-dents will experience the freedom of acrylics, and look forward to painting still life, landscapes, and figures. Jane says, “My students leave with more than a few canvases in hand; they leave with a sense of accomplishment, a new appreciation for their own abilities and the motivation to keep on painting!”

During this multi-week class, you will create a beautiful one-of-a-kind mosaic spinner. Perfect for mosaic artists of all skill levels. Students will design a stunning piece for their gardens, windows or indoor décor. You will simply add your mosaic to the provided skeewbacker board, grout, and hang to enjoy a vibrant handcrafted spinner that is uniquely yours.

This new workshop will cover the basic principles of oil painting with regard to painting palms. It will include interesting and memorable discussions on composition, massing, building form, light and shadow, depending on your own style, and knowing when a work is finished (learning how to not overwork your painting).

In this four-week workshop, open to all, we will explore the connection between art and writing, using examples from painting and photography to inspire us. Ten-minute free-writing prompts will guide us as we fill our notebooks with new writing that can become poems, stories, or personal essays.

Learn the fundamentals of drawing as Mary demonstrates and guides students through this 4-week class. Week 1: Tonal Drawing. Week 2: Figure Drawing. Week 3: Portrait Drawing. Week 4: Figure Drawing.

Mindful Making is a process-based art class focused on self-expression, reflection, and personal meaning. Rather than emphasizing technical skills or finished products, this class invites stu-dents to explore the why behind their creative choices.

During this 6-week course, beginning students will learn the basics of throwing clay on the pottery wheel, learning how to wedge, center, and start on a path to making many different shapes.
